Fine early Empire workstand, c1840, rare fold-out work surface, matched flame mahogany, maple and rosewood fitted interior, 24" wide, 15" deep, 33" tall, writing surface-29" high, 24" x 18" deep.     Condition - excellent french polish finish.  
This would make a great dining room silver chest, I could get cabinetmade double trays in the open top and fitted drawers, dovetailed if that quality is so desired (email or call if you would like to have the additional cost of converting for silver butler, this would not effect integrity of the stand due to seperate lift-out trays).

Great circa mid 1800 Rococo Victorian garden urn, cast iron, signed “JW Fiske, NY”, wide rim with lotus bud, palmette and leaf motif, great scrolled floral and leaf handles with rosette, incise decorated band and large leaf/floral design body, banded/fluted pedestal with palmette ring, square base.
32” wide, 26” tall, 24” dia, 9.5” square base.
Condition – great old, possibly some original paint (black, green, brown colors/faux patinated bronze), several coats/various colors give great patina,
broken 4” curl on bottom of one handle (photo 9) photo 10 is the piece-has a snug fit for repair-no metal loss.

Circa 1900 Art Nouveau fireplace mantle, solid oak or ash, large opening, excellent scrolled leaf carvings on molded base, mirror in top with well turned spindles, shaped shelf with turned gallery.
76” tall.    Mantle-board-58.5” wide, 13” deep, 51.5” tall.     
Opening-43.5” tall, 38.5” wide.        
Condition – needs finish, this mantle has been stripped and needs final cleaning/finishing,
Missing two spindles (would be appropriate to fill peg holes and use only ten spindles/five each side as in photos), missing mirror,
Has a bevel cut that originally was fitted to architectural moldings-
on each side at back of mantle board,(photo 11).        190
- This is a rare find for an Art Nouveau architectural item and is a high quality well-carved example.
- If desired, contact me for a quote to turn two spindles and to put on your desired golden oak or darker oak finish. I had this stripped, but not finished so a buyer could finish for their individual application.

- Exceptional construction and finish work of the finest veneers possibly by Herter Brothers, NYC or other equally fine cabinetmaker.
- This piece has cherry mouldings, inlaid champhered corners and banded panels.

C 1850 pair Acanthus candlesticks, clambroth, cornflower blue sockets, Boston and Sandwich Glass Co, 1840-1865, hexagonl shape, acanthus leaf motif, socket and standard are joined with a partially wiped wafer, gloss finish, not “sand” or “partial sand” finish often seen, this is good clear/gloss surface, the glass has typical “straw” marks/striations/small bubbles found in this early glass, this is one of the medium sized versions in this sought after pattern,    7.75” tall, 3.75” base/widest angle.  Condition – one has a broken socket(25% missing), both with minor flakes on bottom edge.  (75)
